In 2000, Giota Livani, owner of one of the biggest publishing houses in Greece, suggested to Tassia Dendrinou she write a cookery book. The result is “Συνταγές της Τασία” or Classic Recipes from the Greek Island of Kefalonia, which was published in 2001 in Greek and English. It contains traditional Kefalonian and Greek recipes and a history of Kefalonia and Fiscardo with emphasis on local products such as sweets, cheese, herbs and wines.

In 2002 Tassia wrote a second cookery book Gefsis (not yet available in English) containing more elaborate recipes created by her. Each book has now sold more than 50 000 copies.

In 2003 Livanis Publishing published a history of Fiscardo called Fiscardo A Village In Kefalonia. The book was written by Nikos Bakounakis and Panos Dendrinos using Panyis’ collection of photographs. It remains the most comprehensive work on the village so far published. It has both English and Greek text.
