Fishing is allowed in most places and you could also rent a boat for the day. Underwater fishing requires caution near crowded beaches and near very rocky places as there are usually under water caves that create drafts.
Horse rides take you through vineyards, olive groves and the Venetian ruins of the old villages. ‘Valley Riding Club’ is at Lourdata hills just 30 minutes from Karavados.
For beginners but also for more experienced divers there is the Diving Center in Fiscardo and another Diving club in St. Efimia.
Small boats or small yachts are for hire, daily or weekly – no experience requested for small boats in disparity with yachts. The boats can be hired from either St. Efimia or Katelios.
